NEW HEALTH & SAFETY AWARDS

SALFORD QUAYS - Luxfer has always been fully committed to achieving and maintaining the highest standards of health & safety for all its employees, contractors, visitors and all those affected by its operations.
To further heighten the profile of health and safety within the Group we have introduced two new awards which will be competed for annually- see photograph.
The inaugural winners for 2009 are:
“Best Overall Safety Performance” — Luxfer Gas Cylinders, Graham
“Most Improved Safety Performance” — MEL Chemicals, Swinton.
Plaques were also awarded to Magnesium Elektron at Swinton and Litvinov, Niagara Metallurgical Products, MENA - Finlay, Luxfer Gas Products - Shanghai and Superform USA as well as Graham and MEL, Swinton in recognition of achieving a whole year without a single Lost Time Accident (LTA).
Well done to everyone in each of these operations.
