Luxfer Gas Cylinders announces partnership with Precision Medical

NOTTINGHAM, England—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Luxfer Gas Cylinders announced that it has entered into a partnership with Precision Medical, Inc. that adds portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) to Luxfer’s healthcare product range in Europe.

Beginning in April 2016, Luxfer will offer both dial and pushbutton versions of its new three-litre and five-litre lightweight POCs manufactured for Luxfer by Precision Medical.

Tony Edwards, managing director of Luxfer Gas Cylinders Europe, said: “I’m really delighted to announce this partnership with Precision Medical. This agreement will enable us to build on our long-standing and established relationships with our customers by offering them more of the modalities that they need to be competitive on tenders and to service their markets in challenging economic conditions.” Edwards added that the agreement is the first stage in Luxfer’s plan to offer a broader range of healthcare products that complement the company’s popular L7X® and composite medical cylinders.
